Thoughts from Paul - Starting to update!

Wow - happy new year to all!!! O.k. back on the saddle and going to start getting all these pictures in.
I will tell you what - this has been a "Season of Humility" for the Snyder home. I say that in a really good way. We have been so humbled by the unbelieveable generosity, love, thoughtfulness, and kindness that has been heaped on our family these last few months.
From God's awesome gift of two more beautiful boys, Joshua and Caleb, to how our family, friends and church family came around us. Bringing us meals, giving our children gifts, watching our children, calling at the right time to say they were praying for us, asking how we were doing and geniuinely wanting to know how they can help, friends from S.D. making a Grand Forks run with a car load of freezer meals and goodies from many people from our home town, or our cousins/friends coming to help out for 3 weeks when Shawn was running to the hospital 2 or 3 times a day, friends from Winsconsin coming to encourage us, then as Christmas approached and we were wondering how we find the energy, time, and money to shop - 6th floor of our hospital adopted our family and did the shopping for our whole family and brought out the presents on Dec. 23. Just overwhelming, I could go on - won't catch me saying this often, but I am brought to tears thinking of how so many of God's people came around us , loved us, helped us, and encouraged us. And just think, all this done for us, still pales in comparison to the love Christ showed us by coming to earth as babe, and dieing on the cross to pay for our sins. It has surely been a Christmas to remember. As I reflect on all this, I am spurred on by those around me, to give more, to stop and help more often, to take the time to listen and ask how others are doing, just to be aware of others in need. To those that much has been given, I am reminded that much is expected! To everyone, in a way I can not express enough - thank you! - Paul, Shawn, Jacob, Nathan, David, John, Titus, Claire, Leah, Simeon, Joshua, and Caleb!
